Great Stay
First up I used points for my two night stay here so I can’t judge the prices. Check in was fast. Staff very friendly. There are two parking garages. The first one when you enter is small, pass that one and go to the other side of entrance. There you will go down a ramp under the hotel to a much larger garage. There is an elevator there to bring you up. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was bumped up to a mini suite which included a couch area which was nice. Free breakfast offers the standard items. The pool was supposed to be heated but I tried to take a dip one night and I doubt that thing was heated. If it was they need to crank it up a few notches. There is a fitness room and guest laundry room as well. Location is good. You can walk to a few food places and entrance to some freeways is right up the street. The beach area and other shops and restaurants is a very short drive away. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff could have been better about communicating that they were going to take such a large deposit off my card. And they also could have explained the room key thing with the lights in the air conditioning, but otherwise the breakfast was good and the cleaning ladies were great. It was a bummer that the sauna and gym were closed. Over all if we had to stay in Santa Cruz we would stay here though.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very pleasant time. Very comfortable room and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices. We will stay here again next time we come to Santa Cruz.

Parking sucks. Very tiny parking garage in the front of the hotel (someone actually crashed their car into the wall, damaging the wall and im sure their car during our 1 night stay) and the rest of the parking is around the back of the hotel.
Hand soap and lotion are under lock and key on the wall and at least in our room were not in a convenient location.

This was a much needed, short getaway for us which was exactly what we were hoping for. Check in was fast. A wonderful, pleasant, and cheerful young woman greeted us and we were in a beautiful room within 10 minutes. The room was tasteful and clean (as was the entire hotel), the beds were comfortable which is always a huge perk at our age.
We spent our few days exploring Santa Cruz and found the town pleasantly unique, the residents quite friendly, and the surroundings exquisite! We love little beach towns. The last “gem” was the Santa Cruz Diner; what a great place! We had a restful and rejuvenating experience which will have us returning and telling everyone about!
