Nice large room with king bed. Everything was very clearn.
Front desk very helpful with request for early check in.
Breakfast options were several but food not great.
Dinner food even worse.
Would stay there again but go someplace else to eat.

Ample parking, easy access to downtown, large room, and comfortable bed are all positives. But there are also real negatives here. The shower runs very hot, the bathroom has no ventilation, the forced air for ac/heating is uncomfortable. The breakfast is pretty dreadful: overcooked scrambled eggs, French toast that is rubbery and lacks flavor; very little selection; coffee is lukewarm. Finally, the lobby has fresh copies each day of Epoch Times, a dreadful radical right-wing rag that spews disinformation. Why on earth that is there is beyond me. There is a lot of room for improvement here.

The hotel itself is older and the heating/cooling unit in the room was noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean and staff friendly. I enjoyed the convenience of a breakfast being included.

This experience was very disappointing and nowhere near the reputation that Holiday Inn has created for itself. The first thing is the cleanliness of the room was not good. The shower grab bar was obviously dirty, and there was a hole in the wall of the bathroom that was partially covered by artwork. We were supposed to have a queen bed, but it turned out to be a full sized bed. The room phone did not work, I could not call the service desk. The towels and wash rags were not washed well, and there were not enough, only 2 of each. We missed the free breakfast for the first two days, but it was our fault. We made it on the third day, and wow, we should have just missed it again. The waffles taste terrible, cold, and very rubbery. The so-called orange juice was the most bitter thing we'd ever tasted and kept "repeating" in our throats for the next 3 days. The potatoes were horribly over seasoned, way too much garlic and rosemary. The sausage and oatmeal were the only palatable options. I was not given a receipt at checkout, and when I checked my bank account, there was a charge for $22.46. So I called the hotel to find out what the charges were for the gentleman, explaining that management charges between $7.50 to $ 8:00 each nite for some bull crap. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I did not take pictures to show what crap hole this place is, but believe be warned.

The breakfast was good with enough variety. The egg dish could have varied by day though. One day, there were even bowls with melon and pineapple.
It was good to have a restaurant and bar in house, closed on Sunday though.
