A great place to stay
Room and bed were clean, large and comfortable. One of the owners was a chef and we had the best breakfasts of our holiday here. Service is friendly and prompt. Breakfast is taken either in a rear room, which doubles as a lounge or in a glazed area on the back of the property. There is even a piano in the former which is playable by request and a fridge which was useful for my diabetic stuff. There is a car park at the side of the property, though only one car space per room letting. Chillington is convenient for many places around, including Kingsbridge itself, Salcombe, Dartmouth. Via ferry you can get to the National Trusts Coleton Fishacre and Greenway, both very interesting.
We had restful sleeps each night. Fresh milk is delivered in small flasks to your room each day, and my wife's request for a non dairy milk was no oroblem. The family who run this place take pride in their work and it shows.

If you are using a Sat Nav, it may take you down some very narrow lanes. Please note the following directions, from Kingsbridge take the A379 Dartmouth Road passing through the villages of West then East Charleton and Frogmore until you reach Chillington. The house is located at the far end of Chillington village on the main road on the corner of Fairfield Way on the right. If you are arriving from the Dartmouth direction once you enter Chillington village Chillington House is the last house on the left at the end of the initial narrowing of the road.
