Over the years, the building has housed a school as well as the hospital that saw the birth of mathematician and Enigma code breaker Alan Turing. Guests can enjoy a short stroll down the scenic canals or head to the city centre, which is reachable in less than 15 minutes by tube. The rooms are embellished with traditional dark wood furniture and antiques. All beds are wrapped in soft Egyptian cotton linen. Due to COVID limited services are being offered at the moment. Guests can also enjoy the Tea House restaurant at the Colonnade, featuring an airy and light ambiance where a vast glass roof lets the daylight stream in. Warwick Avenue Tube Station is just 2 minutes’ walk away from The Colonnade, and Lords Cricket Ground can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.
