Friendly Hotel

Location Location Location ✅ 3 Minutes walk to the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. 10 Minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. Many souvenirs shop. Easily to find good restaurant. Staffs are friendly & hospitality. Clean rooms & shower. Good Breakfast.

Worst decision to choose this hotel for first visit Istanbul

The worst decision to choose this hotel. We didn't know that they were doing construction work and the day after we checked in, we found workers who stood every day at the window of our room and talked and worked with hammers and welding machines. No one told us that we cannot use the room during the day, only in the evening.
At breakfast, the ladies only spoke Turkish, you couldn't ask what some of the products served contained, it wasn't too diversified and the same assortments every day.
We announced at the reception that we are disturbed by the noise and the men who are all day by our window and nothing happened. They didn't even apologize for the trouble or offer us a room where we can have no men at the window. I hope that the manager lives the same experience when he goes on vacation with his wife, to feel how beautiful it is

Choose somewhere else

Do not believe the photos! Unfortunately although the location is very central to the mosque (as long as you don’t mind a 6am wake up prayer), the hotel is not worth what they charge. The breakfast is nothing like the photos, the safe and toilet role holder broken, slippers a different tinge of yellow and ammenities few and far between. The reception is helpful, perhaps too helpful! Trying to sell tours, meals and everything in between at every opportunity. We left after one night for a different location. There are much nicer hotels in this area for far less cost. Disappointed

Terrible experience!

The most terrible hotel!rested from 20.11-24.11.No service for 2 days the lights were out.On the day of departure there was not even hot water!the administration refused to solve the issue.
Food choices are scarce too. Unleavened pastries and 2 kinds of eggs. I don't recommend this hotel to visit unless you want to spoil your mood!

What’s around Heart of Istanbul

In the heart of Istanbul, it is a cozy hotel! Convenient to visit the major attractions of the city. Nearby there is also a very useful tram stop to move to the most dislocated sites. It offers well-kept rooms, furnished in "style", spacious and comfortable. Breakfast, rich and varied, with homemade specialties, is served on a veranda terrace with an enchanting view. The staff is really priceless, in terms of sympathy and kindness, we treasured the advice of some of them. Istanbul has bewitched us and we will return, we will stay again at the Alzer. Recommended
