Overall great choice, quieter south side of Samui
Excellent - deluxe garden room was fantastic. Small detached bungalow set in gardens, one of the most private and spacious hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Beach also superb - small bays and big rock formations, very scenic. Pools layout also great, on different levels and well designed in a very green setting. Staff all delightful.
Not so good just in case this helps anyone - pool furniture a little shabby (but comfortable and plentiful! Didn’t worry me); food/restaurant middle of the road and a little pricey. Lots of steps as on a steep hillside, part of its charm but not suitable for the mobility impaired. You have to make an effort to leave the resort, so other food options limited. This hotel is magical in design and accommodation so it’s easy to overlook the few aspects that are not perfect.

Lovely, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and its position on the beach make it well worth a visit on the beach
One small negative - it felt like the staffing level had been reduced so things such as the room and restaurant service were slower, and less comprehensive.

5th return visit
Staff were wonderful with special thanks to Anu and Mam who were excellent .
My only gripe was at breakfast there were never any bananas put out which is strange as they are in season but if I asked I was given them so they were available . One coffee machine is not enough for the amount of guests as it kept breaking down , plates and cups kept running out .
Room was fine … initially I wasn’t keen as it was by the kitchen but it was only a short walk to beach so that actually suited us .
Yes the hotel does need updating and it would have been nice to see the manager like in previous years … maybe we did who knows ?
Beach was lovely but lacked sunshades … I was told they were destroyed in the recent storm and more have been ordered .
We would come back in a heart beat so hopefully see you all again .
