My stay at the Santa Maria hostel was adventurous and so much fun,I have met incredible people
It was amazing as I met incredible people,it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The only downside for me which was my fault I got drunk on poncha one evening and left my bag on the floor and when I wake up my money was gone .
Never the less I had a fabulous time and I shall indeed go back ,and not get drunk on poncha as didn’t realise how strong that stuff is .Great location and very convenient access to all places in Funchal .Highly recommended,

There are many restaurants in the area whose sound can be heard in the room. However, the restaurants are food restaurants, so they close around 10pm.
The internet worked well. The late check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly. The common areas were clean and functional. Comfortable accommodation.
It was a bit annoying that my door was knocked several times before checkout. Like I should hurry, even though Checkout time hadn't come yet.
