The restaurant and breakfast were really good with a great selection.
The room was a bit small.
The staff were great.
As mentioned on other reviews there are tramps outside, they do not bother you but not a great first impression. Wellington has a whole seems to have problems with tramps and undesirable people shouting in the street, I am afraid to say the worst NZ place we have visited. It is a fantastic country though.

No parking available due to my car size for my first night. Was then given conflicted information, the agent at the desk the next morning said that with Expedia related bookings you need to call ahead to reserve a parking spot, when I asked if I could reserve the spot of the next SUV leaving I was told it was first come first serve. I stated this conflicting information and the desk agent reserved me a space

Overall good - convenient location, friendly staff, and very clean sheets/bedding. But moldy bathroom and not functioning TV due to a modem issue. I had a free carpark offer due to my membership with Hotels.com but still got charged $25 per night. Messaged the hotel to get refunded. No response yet.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and the super large shower. I really liked the provided toiletries, smelled lovely!
The only issue we had was with the parking. It is very tight and difficult to manoeuvre. The first space we were assigned to was impossible to get into (right next to the wall) and thankfully the second space was manageable. The front desk staff was so helpful with all that.
The location is central and convenient, lots of restaurants and entertainment. It’s also close to the waterfront, which has great art and views.

Great service and very handy to St James, Opera House, Michael Fowler Centre etc. Would definitely stay there again.
