The amenities and location of the hotel are outstanding! It’s an easy (and free) shuttle to the airport where you then can take public transport anywhere. Service was fine, but checking in took incredibly long, and despite asking not to have my room cleaned, it was still cleaned during my stay. While not a big deal, if I’d known it was going to be cleaned, I would’ve put valuables away. The second day this wasn’t an issue. So all in all, great stay and I’ll book again next time I’m in Amsterdam!

We were looking for a quick place to stay overnight between flights. The shuttle service ended before we got there, check in was vague on how to get to our room, lights, shower and coffee maker where all unique in their operation. When you are tired and looking for a quick place to rest, this place may not be ideal.

This hotel is a great base for traveling to Schiphol Airport. It’s spacious, with good rooms and a well-organized layout. However, our experience with the parking policy left a bad taste.
We were dropped off by a friend and decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although the first three hours of parking are supposed to be free, and we stayed well within that limit, we still had to pay €7.50 at the machine. After following the instructions and paying, we addressed the issue with the staff, who told us we should have checked in at reception first. Unfortunately, this was not indicated anywhere.
Despite our complaint, the hotel couldn't refund us, stating that the parking lot is managed by a third party. After some email exchanges, they offered a €7.50 discount on a future stay. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’d want to return just for that.

Poor service and hugely long wait to check in

First half an hour with two small children who were tired from the trip queued up to check in. Beforehand I had indicated that we wanted to check in between 3 pm and 4 pm. The time was confirmed by the hotel, finally at the reception (now almost 4 pm), we were told that the room was not yet ready and that we therefore could not check in yet. We could first have a drink, despite indicating that this was very difficult with the children. Eventually the room was not ready until 5.10 pm and we could only check in then. I don't think a 2 hour delay in checking in and getting into the room is appropriate. Otherwise the hotel is very reasonable.

Zonder specifieke gegevens is het moeilijk om precies te achterhalen wat de vertraging in uw geval heeft veroorzaakt. Check-in tijden kunnen soms worden beïnvloed door verschillende factoren, zoals drukte tijdens piekuren, onverwachte vertragingen bij het gereedmaken van kamers (een reparatie) of het opvangen van gasten met onderbroken reisplannen die als groep aankomen vanaf Schiphol met onze shuttle. Bepaalde kamertypes, zoals onze Familie-kamers, zijn beperkt beschikbaar, waardoor we afhankelijk zijn van het uitchecken van de vorige gasten en de schoonmaakplanning.
Dat gezegd hebbende, erkennen we hoe belangrijk een vlotte en tijdige check-in is, en we waarderen uw geduld enorm. We werken continu aan het verbeteren van onze processen om onze gasten beter van dienst te kunnen zijn.

A Perfect Stay

This was my first trip to Amsterdam and I am so glad I stayed at this hotel. It's not in the city-center but I think that's a positive. Less expensive, bigger rooms and more amenities are here. It's super convenient to take the shuttle from the airport. If you want to go to the city center just take the shuttle back to the airport and then a train. You'll be able to get a lot of information from the website, but you won't get it all. For example, the staff. I have never been treated so well at a hotel. Every single staff member was happy and helpful. The property itself is sooo unique and has sooo many amenities. I can't wait to go back.
