Charming small hotel

The hotel is in a quiet place, but close to all the attractions. Beautiful, cozy rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows (I would like to have such at home). Small bathroom, but there was enough space. Slippers, mini bar, coffee machine and sanik in the room. Breakfast with a very good choice (for any picky taste). If possible, we will definitely return

To die for

First see Venice,then you can die.
The palazzetto is to die for, friendly staff, helpfull, good breakfast, nice garden, good spacious rooms, good shower, right in walking distance to whole Venice.
Good restaurants too. The temperature is for us to high, but we just turned of the heat and openend the window, so done.
One of the best new years we have had.

Feel like we were scammed

Simple Bait and switch, we reserved what we thought would be a lovely room that our reservation said included an upgrade (Deluxe for the price of a superior) upon arrival. we were put in a horrible little room in the back of the hotel with one tiny window that looked onto an old pipe (see attached photo). We felt it was a downgrade rather than an upgrade comparing what we got to what we saw in the photos on their website. The bathroom shower was not in full working condition. Front desk was not helpful, stay away from this hotel.

Lucky Find in Venice

This hotel is exactly what we had hoped to find for our stay in Venice. Five minutes' walk from the Grand Canal, and just a few steps away from mild bustle, it sits alongside a tranquil canal between two small footbridges. The unassuming front door opens to reveal a surprisingly lovely old hotel. Its antique, colorful, polished atmosphere is as comfortable as it is functional. Our ground floor room opened onto a secluded garden courtyard that allowed us to get our dog out for some fresh air at any hour. The room was clean and spacious, and everything from the shower to the bed, and the included amenities, had all the quality of the lobby and their impressive breakfast area. To take our experience one step further, Valentina, the lady in charge at the front desk, was helpful, full of suggestions, entertaining and warmly professional. Great hotel in every respect. Great people. Great location. A lucky find in Venice.

surpassed expectations

this hotel rocks!! the staff was amazing. shout out to Valentina who was the most hospitable host. every afternoon she greeted us as old friends and had endless great ideas and suggestions and referrals to everything in venice. her dedication to her job is commendable and she made our trip much better. i sadly overheard a very aggressive and abusive guest who was completely in the wrong verbally attack her in the lobby and she handled it with grace and respect which i imagine was extremely hard to do. she is a true gem for this hotel! in other news, the location is great, the breakfast is out of this world (truly) and the room was outstanding… spacious and comfortable with true venetian decor and artwork draping the walls. exactly what u want staying in venice. our room had a private patio and opened onto the courtyard which was perfect as we travel with our dog. thank you valentina and staff or a fantastic visit to this beautiful town. when we return, we know exactly where to stay!
