Lovely place!

This is a humble but CLEAN place to stay. The owner and the staff are very nice and welcoming. They took care of us as if we were part of their family and every morning they greeted us with a smile. They even waved us goodbye from the door when we left! I highly recommend this place.

Good Enough

This hotel is located at Prawirotaman Street which is famous as foreigner tourist villages. Room is clean and not smelly at all. I stayed in a family room with AC and also fan! Wow, doubly woobly.
The staffs are helpful and trustworthy. They gave us nasi kuning for breakfast and its taste so so. Good for its price.
The room has hot and cold water as facilities.
Plus, this hotel located near Il Tempo De Gelato which is a gelato place that very famous in Yogyakarta nowadays.
I would like to stay in Sartika Hotel next time. Nice experience.

clean, value for money, friendly, good location

I have been staying more than one month in Sartika and felt like home. I have compared many hotels in Prawirotaman and area. Sartika has very good rooms, is extremely clean and offers great value for money. You can choose between different rooms when the hotel is not fully booked so that you feel comfortable with the room and the location. In Sartika free Wifi is available in the lounge which is located on the 1st floor.
Every morning you will get a thermos with hot water, coffee and tea placed in front of your room. Whenever you wish, your room will be cleaned and additional items such as cups, pillows, blankets and extra beds ect can be provided immediately.
The Sartika team is very helpful and friendly and fulfills your requests promptly.
I enjoyed a very relaxed and pleasant stay here and I will for sure return and can highly recommend the place to other traveler who are looking for a clean, friendly place which offers great value for money.

Honest, valuable hotel

We've travelled a lot in Indonesia and this is really the first accomadation where nobody tried to rip us off. Although there are plenty of rooms you can choose of (all with TV and Fan, the more expensive with AC) this place has an unbelievable private Atmosphere.
The host really understand how to make you feel comfortable.
You go out your room after you woke up and get suprised by the cup of tea standing on your table or you ask for a bike to hire and you get asked why you don't take one of their bikes, they are free(makes perfect sense to me). Also you get provided with good information and nobody tries to sell you a tour for a lot of money.
The location is great, as you are in the Prawirotaman district, wich is the real, untouristic and "Hip" part of Yogya.
The rooms are basic but very clean and you only pay 100.000 Rupiah for a double. Internet and good advise come free.
We'll be back.

Good quiet place

We arrived kind of late in Yogya and we didn't had any booking, so we started looking around and we had a chance to find Sartika Homestay. It was a really good surprise. It is not a fancy place but is really clean, nice quiet hotel, with a nice owner and son, and attentive staff.
The room has a good A/C , and a fan too, comfortable bed, clean linen. They don't do breakfast but instead they give you some coffee or tea every morning!!!
They were really great with us, they helped us with the internet connection, they got us an scale because we needed to weight our luggages, and helped us to arrange a taxi for the airport, which by the way was really on time. A nice place with helpful people. It is a good value place to stay if you are looking for a clean, quiet, and really friendly hotel. It's also really close to some good restaurants in the same road.
