Perfekte Lage für Besucher der Externsteine
Der preis ist sehr günstig und eignet sich gut für einen Kurztrip.
Ich war komplett unabhängig und konnte meine Reise von dort super planen.
Um zum Hermannsdenkmal zu kommen empfiehlt sich ein Auto (15-20 Minuten Fahrtzeit).
Für alle die einen Kurztrip planen oder zum Fotografieren in den Teutoburger Wald fahren. Klare Empfehlung.

Nothing for a pleasant night's sleep, so you can work again the next day rested!
The windows barely dampen the driving noise. Had the impression all night that windows were tilted even though it was locked.
The headlights illuminate the room on the ground floor on the right, from two directions, constantly! The curtains could also have been omitted, as they in no way serve their purpose. Why didn't you put the bed right on the road!?
There is also a staircase directly in front of a large window in the room. The horror and disruption is program when other hotel guests walk up and down!
A motion detector is triggered here constantly, even without pedestrians. The room is constantly illuminated. TERRIBLE!!!

Fun stay
A well located hotel, just on the outskirts of the centre
About a 15 minute walk to the Externsteine Stone attraction
Only ten km to Detmold and 28 to Paderborn
This family owned and run hotel/bar is very clean and the room I had was very spacious
The hotel has 8 rooms,where I was staying so a very homely feel, as this was originally what the building was
The bar is well decked out in various sports memorabilia, not over done or tacky
I bought a scarf of the small local football club only really available from the bar,last one so a neat touch and unique souvenir
The food is tasty and very generous portions
For one meal I had a schnitzel and my other meal was a cheeseburger with bacon
The breakfast is 7euros but it is a feast
The beer is decently priced
A friendly and warm atmosphere
Good place to base yourself for a few days whilst visiting points of intrest

1 Übernachtung auf der Durchreise
Die Betten sind leicht durchgelegen und die Handtücher leicht durchsichtig.
Dafür waren das Bad und die Dusche völlig ausreichend. Man darf natürlich für den Preis nicht sehr viel erwarten.
Für eine oder zwei Nächte kann man das Hotel wirklich empfehlen!
Ich würde da also nochmal herkommen.
