Embarrassing Experience at Checkout

Check-in and hotel was great but checkout was completely different with a terrible young man that seemed to be bothered by my interrupting some paperwork he was completely.
During checkout, I encountered two staff members at the front desk with starkly different attitudes. One was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making a positive impression. Unfortunately, the other was disrespectful, rude, and condescending when I inquired about the free breakfast included with my room package. His loud response, questioning my entitlement in front of other guests, was humiliating, especially for my family. To make matters worse, he was mistaken about the breakfast inclusion, which only added to the discomfort. The courteous staff member quickly intervened, pointing out the correct information on the system, but was then verbally reprimanded by his colleague in German—an unprofessional exchange that unfolded in front of us.This was one of the most disappointing experiences in my years of traveling. I hope management can address this behavior and encourage more constructive ways to handle customer interactions, ensuring all staff reflect the professionalism shown by the kinder employee.

Charming Hotel with Great Staff, But Needs Updates

Lindner Hotel Frankfurt Höchst has a lot of charm, and the staff truly deserves 5 stars for their hospitality. Upon arrival, I was recognized for my Globalist status and upgraded, which was a great touch.
However, the hotel itself feels in need of an update—the only modernized areas I noticed were the conference center facilities.
The room was clean, but the furnishings and overall feel could use some refreshing. The fitness center was completely dead, with stale air, making it far from an inviting space to work out. That being said, the location is a plus—it’s close to the hotel but also near a charming village that feels authentic and offers a great local experience.
Would I stay here again? If they invest in some updates, absolutely. But as it stands now, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return unless necessary. That said, the staff alone makes this hotel worth considering, as their service was top-tier.

Beautiful, relaxed hotel for business and private travel

You can feel very comfortable in this hotel. The employees are competent and very eager to fulfill special requests. A very relaxed atmosphere, good location to the shopping street. Should there be another event in Höchst, I will certainly book again.

Hyatt can no longer maintain the Lindner standard

Check-in takes far too long due to an apparently far too complicated process. 2 out of 12 rooms booked were cold, heating defective. Only a fan heater as an emergency solution was not enough. No discount offered let alone informed in advance. Staff and hotel standards no longer match the old Lindner standard. Breakfast has also worn off. Accommodation prices nevertheless increased significantly.
The bar continues to be good and cozy.
