Tolle zwei Tage

Wir verbrachten das Pfingstwochenende mit unseren zwei Hunden in diesem Hotel und haben uns dort rundum wohl gefühlt.
Angefangen vom gemütlichen Zimmerchen, das reichhaltige Frühstück, das leckere Essen im Restaurant.....es war supertoll.
Das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Wir kommen wieder....

Good but more Customer Service needed

Buckow is a charming town. Pity like a lot of towns in the Eastern part of Germany that the staff did not speak English. It is out of the way. We came from Berlin and this was a stop over.
When I produced my reservation the lady advised me that they were booked out. It was only after several attempts with my best Deutsch that she finally agreed to let me into the hotel itself!
The room however was excellent, the evening meal was sufficient for 2 hungry visitors and the breakfast was very good. They helped me when I had car problems the next morning. If only they could be a bit more professional with their service then I would give this hotel 5 star.

Restaurantbesuch

Wir haben nur das Restaurant besucht. Kann man nur empfehlen. Sehr schön modernisiert und liebevoll mit alten Bildern und Mobiliar dekoriert. Schnell Bedienung und lecker Essen. Großer Saal - bestimmt für Feierlichkeiten bestens geeignet. Leider ist der Blick vom Parkplatz auf das Haus nicht so prickelnd.

Rundtour mit dem Rad

Für eine Stärkung nach einer Radltour ist das Gasthaus bestens geeignet. Das Essen hat einen guten Standard und reicht aus für einen hungrigen Radler abends im Biergarten.
Zur Spargelzeit wird ein super Spargel serviert.

Immer freute ich mich auf einen Besuch im Restaurant des Hauses. Der letzte Besuch lag schon eine Weile zurück(2012). Also wurde es zu Beginn dieses neuen Jahres wieder Zeit. Als ersten fiel die stark abgespeckte Karte auf, dann auch die deutlich erhöhten Preise.Leider hat die Qualität im gleichen Maße abgenommen, wie die Preise gestiegen sind. Ich hatte die Entenbrust mit Knödeln Rotkohl und Grünkohl. Die Brust entpuppte sich als Brüstlein und war sehr trocken, die Knödel waren nicht selbstgemacht und schmeckten dementsprechend. Meine Freundin hatte das Schweineschnitzel mit Championsahnesoße für 13,50 Euro. Was soll man sagen, die Schnitzel kamen aus der Tiefkühltruhe und die Soße machte auch diesen Eindruck. Angererichtet mit Pommes und Salat wirkte das Gericht wie beim Imbiss an der Ecke, nur etwas teurer. Meine Schwiegermutter hatte an Ihrem Zanderfilet nichts auszusetzen, auch wenn es auf dem verwendetem Glasteller eher an eine Nachspeise erinnerte. Die leicht schmuddelige Tischdecke rundete das Bild ab. Lichtblick war die helle, freundliche, saubere Toilette. Wir hoffen auf baldige Verbesserung, da dieses Haus über Jahrzehnte hinweg ein sehr zu empfehlendes Ziel war.
