We relied on the many reviews and good online Rating that described this Pension as “exceptional” and “superb” but the reality is quite different the exterior condition of the building looks dilapidated and poorly maintained and the interior was no better with a strong smell of moisture in the rooms. As soon as we arrived the receptionist told us that the room was neither cancellable nor refundable while we had not yet seen it. For the photos of the rooms a staging was made to create a cozy cocoon but we noticed on the spot that we were far from reality everything is old. We were then offered to visit a superior room but no miracle.
And it was not possible to sleep in this Inn with the unbreathable smell. In addition, access to the car park passes through a narrow corridor where SUVs do not pass. We do not understand the 3 stars of this Pension and have been misled by positive reviews. So we ran away.

A quiet hotel

On the street side, the hotel can not be seen, but past the narrow porch, we discovered a garden with the ground floor rooms with terrace. The hotel is very quiet, the bedding good. We enjoyed having a hearty breakfast on the terrace.

This hotel is quite dated in decor and not super well kept. The part of town it is in feels a little unsettling but it’s a short walk central to restaurants etc. The place is very secure at night. Service was mediocre with staff very particular e.g. charge for coffee, unwilling to carry or set up cot for child. The cot was also not clean which was frustrating after having to set it up ourselves.

Very unpleasant hostess and breakfast offered from 8 a.m.!
It's difficult to have lunch in this hotel when you work!!! No professionalism, I prefer to sleep outside than in this hotel whose photos are misleading!

Bonjour Madame,
je suis vraiment navrée d'apprendre que vous avez été très mal accueillie, ce n'est pourtant pas dans nos habitudes. L'équipe est au contraire, toujours très accueillante.
Notre buffet petit déjeuner est ouvert tous les jours de 7h à 9h30, sauf dimanche et jours ferries de 8h à 10h.
Nous tenons l'établissement depuis 15 ans avec une formation en hôtel de Chaine auparavant. je vous assure du professionnalisme de mon équipe, qui sont tous diplômés en Hôtellerie.
Nous réalisons nous même nos clichés que nous partageons ln ligne, nos photos sont donc bien réelles.
Je vous présente toute nos excuses et vous souhaite une bonne nuit étoilée.
