Charming French provincial stone house with big garden - only problem was that check-in normally starts at 4.30pm but the owner very kindly opened up the premises for us at 3.00pm and so we had time to walk to the nearby town of Touros - a mediaeval gem in the heart of Burgundy. Although the churches and a remarkable hospital museum are worth seeing, we were most impressed by the two Michelin-starred restaurants and we ate at Les Terrasses which was absolutely superb. Even better, the chef drove us home because we couldn’t get a taxi!

This property is very clean but much of the furnishing is very old and our bed was very small.
The breakfast was good with fresh bread and croissants.

I was not there at all because they has no room. And Hotel.com charged me for that and I try to vety miney back.

Would not recommend

Lots of potential which sadly was not realised. The owner did not have details of our booking, which room we'd booked or the number of nights (this worked to our advantage as we only stayed for two of the three nights we'd originally booked). The room itself was ok, if somewhat tired looking. Breakfast was a single croissant and some rather stale bread (lovely jam though) which was served on a tablecloth which looked as though it hadn't seen a washing machine for several months. We will not be returning and cannot recommend it. The price wasn't even that cheap.

Prima stop over. Rustig en uitgebreid ontbijt. Eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk maar spreekt alleen frans. Smalle Franse bedden. Airco aanwezig en luiken voor de ramen. Prima
