Wonderful once-in-lifetime experience

Today, on our last day of vacation, we can say: The admittedly extremely expensive Kelo glass of igloo was worth the unique experience! The rustic log cabin is super cozy and generous, the glass igloo area a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Breakfast is good, also from the selection, there are also vegan options.
We had a rental car with us, all mandatory activities for us (reindeer sled, dog sled, snowmobile) could take place in favorable weather conditions. All guides were friendly and accommodating. Northern lights were brilliant, but nobody has any influence on that.
We do not want to miss the experience in any case and our recommendation is therefore 100%!
How do you feel about going home given the prices if you haven't seen the Northern Lights, there's a storm and -30 degrees during the excursions and you have to walk the long distances to the restaurant in heavy snowfall...? Three tips:
1. Get good winter clothes
2. Car rental
3. Do not rely on Aurora alarm in the room, we had no alarm! Download forecast app with KP index and actively watch the night sky!:) Our Northern Lights had a KP of 3-4

Fantastic resort! Only one restaurant was open and the food wasn’t great (it was fine, just not great) but everything else made up for it. We stayed in a lovely Kelo-Glass igloo and absolutely loved it. The activities were fun—best were snowmobile, dog sledding and feeding the reindeer.

When we arrived we found that we had booked the east side igloos that have to shower facilities & a long walk through the snow to get to a shared shower room. This was not what we were expecting for such expensive accommodation!
Luckily we got help from a great guy named Anastasios who got us into the west side of the property with an upgrade to an igloo with great facilities, where we saw the northern lights!
Thank you so much Anastasios for saving our bucket list trip from being a disaster!
You have great understanding & very helpful customer service skills!
The resort is much better in the west side…east side I would rate not much higher than back packer accommodation at a ridiculous price!
The food could be better too for the price!

An excellent resort with beautiful, cozy cottages that keep you warm even in extreme temperatures as low as -30°C. The entire experience was very well organized, and the in-room firewood setup is a must-try for a charming and authentic touch.
The food is thoughtfully curated, with great consideration for vegetarians, which was a pleasant surprise.
Do note that the resort is in the middle of nowhere, offering unparalleled tranquility — but that also means you should carry some snacks for your room. Stepping out in harsh weather conditions requires caution. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene Arctic escape!

Decent stay with subpar food

We stayed in the west glass igloo which has an in room sauna and washroom. The room itself was decent , we enjoyed the sauna as well !
This hotel has been in our bucket list for a while , and unfortunately it didn’t live up to the expectation.
Food was really subpar as well , for dinner they had 3 options and 2 out of them are Indian options. Would have been good if there were a couple of Finnish/Western options. It seems the hotel has partnered with tour companies and there are bus loads of tourists day in day out .

We appreciate your feedback regarding the dining options.
