Worth only for breakfast
I only visited his restaurant for breakfast. The prices at € were relatively affordable although you seemed to have paid for the view / location of the hotel, which however was magnificent. Unfortunately, due to the winter, only the part of the winter with the tables that were covered from everywhere was open, so to take a picture and take a picture of the landscape from below (all the square of the old town of Prague) you had to go to the next hall which was fortunately allowed. The breakfast was quite remarkable in appearance and quantity. It was definitely filling. Offers unique sweets. The only thing that ruined us was the service. Generally, they were somewhat unhospitable. The waitress at first was missing from his post and we were looking for him to order. Water has been costly for Central Europe. As soon as his assistant arrived, he disappeared and his assistant couldn't finish your dish and came and grabbed you without asking. I guess that's how the service works all over the Czech Republic as a mentality. Unfortunately for the dining area there was no access for people with disabilities.

Amazing rooms, super comfy beds and friendly staff. Rooftop terrace and cocktail bar in the basement. Thoroughly recommended from top to bottom

Stayed in a Junior Suite and it was breathtaking, the decor, the building itself, the view! This hotel is right on the Old Town Square pretty much opposite the Astronomical Clock. A great base, comfortably walked to all the main landmarks within 30 mins and most within 20.
Incredibly clean and the staff all very welcoming and helpful. Made use of the round trip taxi service which was perfect, drivers were pleasant and on time, no issues whatsoever.
Food at breakfast was fantastic with a good selection, there was fresh fruit, continental meats, granolas, cooked breakfast, and pastries and cakes - we tried almost all of it and all so tasty.
We had some panels in the parquet flooring in our room missing, only small and not enough to mar the room at all.
Hotel was incredibly warm in all areas both the rooms and shared spaces such as corridors and restaurants.
Both the Terasa and the Black Angel’s bar were worth a visit, very good indeed.

Bad vibes before arrival
I booked a 3 night stay using Capital One miles at Hotel U Prince in November 2024. Last week I called to arrange a shuttle pick up for our arrival in March 2025 and was curtly told by a gentleman that they had no record of my reservation and rudely hung up the phone without any offer of assistance. I promptly called Capital One travel who checked with the hotel while I waited on hold and was told they did have my reservation but would not confirm it until the next week. What? I didn’t buy that explanation so I decide to retry calling the hotel the next morning to see if I could get better assistance. Everyone can have a bad day right? So I call the next day and speak to a woman this time . She refused to check my confirmation # and told me any issues have to be taken care of through email. I forgot to mention that since November I emailed the hotel twice with no response. After stating this she hung up on me too! Needless to say, I cancelled my reservation and booked elsewhere. I think the only positive this hotel has is location! Glad I didn’t get burned on arrival

Just the terrace at the top!
We came here after seeing the terrace from the clock tower opposite. We both had a great homemade lemonade and enjoyed the surrounding scenery. The staff were great, friendly and quick. We just enjoyed the terrace, though, we didn't stay at the hotel so I can't comment on that unfortunately.
