Doporučuji

We loved this hotel. The guy on reception was Just amazing. Clean And simple room with amazing view. Very rich breakfast.
Doporucuji tento hotel. Krásný, čistý s milým a pomocným personálem. Cestujeme s pejskem a to tam nevadí. Z okna je úplně bombasticky výhled na hory, vesnicku a krávy)))). Máme to moc rady. Snídaně byla bohatá s velkým výběrem.

To be avoided

To avoid, dirty, shabby, worse bathroom than we saw in 80s gas stations, just seeing the entrance is all say. Canteen buffet , absolutely not in accordance with the photos published on the hotel and Eurospin Trips site

Basic but good

Basic rooms, fittings are a little tired and dated but everything is perfectly sound and clean. Good food and portions throughout the week. Location is about 10 mins from lifts by car, ski bus is a little longer maybe 15 mins but conveniently drops you immediately outside the lifts.

Extremely poor service

This is a basic hotel and you really shouldn't expect too much from it. The rooms are done to minimum standards, the WiFi doesn't work and the whole hotel is extremely dark and dingy. What really makes it a horrible place to stay is the staff though. There was never anyone at reception or bar and the man who was there at check in and check out was very unfriendly and looked like he didn't care. The kitchen staff are overworked and don't speak German or English so unfortunately aren't much help. The only time we saw any other staff was when it was time to close the bar, something they do with particular efficiency.
The all inclusive package is not an all inclusive, it is breakfast and dinner with a snack in between. The meal times are restrictive and the food is not great quality.
We also booked with a guided hike which we later found out doesn't take place on the weekend, something that the hotel failed to mention when taking our money for a weekend break! There is generally very little information about what to do in the area and we went to a different hotel just to ask someone friendlier what they recommend. This is not at all what I expect of a hotel.
That is generally what is wrong with the hotel and the reasons no one else should go there but also in our case my fiancé also got food poisoning, which since we were only eating at the hotel can only have come from there. When I asked if they could extend check out slightly just to give us use of the room for a few more hours to give her time to feel well enough to travel home, I was told in no uncertain terms that it wasn't possible and that any delay after 10am would lead to us paying for an extra night. This complete lack of empathy about sums the whole place up, a terrible hotel.

basic, clean, easy hotel - not the best service

Room and hotel was clean but the service and support from staff was poor. rarely anyone on the reception (no one to greet us) and no contact person. Nobody was interested in asking us if we wanted anything or needed anything and they were keen to get the bar closed as soon as possible. Everything was in darkness at 22.00 and we had no chance to ask for anything else before this happened. Gorgeous location and a hotel that is good for a base when Skiing but not for a romantic get away.
