As a woman travelling alone i felt welcome and safe. All the staff were smiling, welcoming and friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable,room and bathroom were clean, i had all i needed for a quick stay.
As i had a headache i opted for room service from their onsite restaurant. My meal was delicious, couldn't fault it. Juicy and well portioned main, yummy dessert. Thank you all so much, i would definately stay again.

Booking mistake, but still had to pay

Had a bad experience with my booking. I booked one evening @6.30pm, (with what I thought was a month in advance). However, After a phone call from the receptionist, asking for our checkin time, I realised I had made a mistake and accidentally booked for the same night I made the booking. The receptionist was kind and said she would cancel the booking.
But, The motel still took out money. When I asked them why, I was emailed a response saying I still had to pay for this room because they didn’t get any other bookings for the room, so I had to pay for it. Wow!!!! Within an hour of my accidental booking, I lost $180… be careful when dealing with this motel.

Watch out for fake charges

I recommended this motel for work as it was a nice place, but then when I stayed this time around, they charged me for water that I didn't use/take (out of mini bar). Didn't bother to advise before charging and when I called they 'guessed' it was for water and refused to refund. Won't stay again.

Outdated hotel welcome absent miniscule room

Welcome without any flavor we feel disturbed.
The rooms are small, dilapidated, it's like the 1970s. Not very functional, bed more than average. The TV adjoins the fridge with the coffee set next door. brief basic comfort without space.
The highlight is that the hotel charged us on the CB the room already paid.....

A really comfortable, welcoming place with a great restaurant

I have stayed at William Macintosh Motel a few times now. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and the electric blanket is a really nice touch for the cold nights. The spa room is worth the upgrade - really large, well equipped, and very clean. It's hard to resist the temptation of such a well stocked mini bar too! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food from the restaurant is delicious, they even provide room service. I always look forward to my time there, and would highly recommend a stay.
