Part of a longer college tour near Davis area. Perfect for our needs. But extra shout out to the staff for returning a set of headphones left in the room. They found and mailed them quickly. Charged card on file so was seamless.

The location is right near the freeway, so it is noisy, but not the end of the world. The room was either stifling hot or freezing, hard to find the sweet spot with the heater/air. Pillows are just awful. I tried to ask for extra pillows and was told by the front desk that they didn't have any because the hotel was fully booked. I find that to be a poor excuse why you can't offer a guest 2 extra pillows. The breakfast had decent offerings. The coffee they served was pretty good. Our stay at La Quinta served its purpose as it was a convention location and affordable, but I would not return nor recommend to others.

My room was in the lower level. During the both nights, I would hear the footsteps from the people staying in the room above mine, making it hard to sleep comfortably.

Great customer service!
It's a smaller La Quinta but nice & clean. Courtney at the front desk was Very welcoming, friendly & informative about dining options. .Elixia went the extra mile to get us extra coffee filters for our room coffee. . We a lways appreciate the pet friendly rooms..,first floor near a door works great with the dog. We even had the ice make right across our hall. we had a king room that was very clean. The room had a desk with chair & upolstered chair with ottoman, microwave & fridge. Had plenty of floor space for the dog crate. We were cozy & warm.
Appreciated the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. I Went to a Hilton last year that only offered coffee in the rooms, not lobby.
Breakfast- was ok. Hard boiled eggs, sausage & bacon. . Didn't miss powered eggs. had yogurt, cold cereals, Several breads & pastries & a waffle maker. The cream cheese & the butter was imitation. We were thankful to have a breakfast though.

Hotel is a solid property. Walkable to several food opportunities, and only a couple minute drive, or 10 minute walk to downtown.
