Lovely location for a night away
Comfortable room with a lovely balcony and views. The room was very clean and modern with plenty of storage. The complimentary gin was a very nice touch.
We dined in the Harbar on 6th restaraunt. The fish and chips were good and we were looked after exceptionally well by Laura. Our only issue was the noise level, the music which then led to the conversation levels were very loud, and it was very difficult to have a normal conversation. The levels dropped at about 9pm and the atmosphere became a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
We will visit again but probably mid week when warmer so that we can take advantage of the outdoor spaces.

A Fine Hotel Experience
Needed to be in Southampton to be near wife in hospital. The hotel is run by a team that is very friendly without compromising their professionalism. The room (401) was comfortable but I must say that I noticed a slight "mop-bucket" smell that I had not noticed when I stayed in another room recently. However, that apart, they looked after an elderly man who enjoys being waited on hand and foot brilliantly. Every department from the bar to housekeeping to room service excelled. Special mention must be made of Vita on Reception who went over and above what could be asked of her on several occasions, even providing me with a band of her own to secure my pony-tail because I had forgotten to pack an elastic band.!
Always at this hotel, the overhead shower is a bit underpowered but is also very spacious and accommodated an old, fat boy easily. There is more of me than there is of a standard hotel bathrobe but a larger one was readily provided. The bed was large and comfortable and the room is presented with a very comforting turn-down service. I appreciated the green tea supply too.
Needless to say, having the Jetty as the restaurant is a bonus.
I have stayed in different Harbour Hotels, this one is the most luxurious. Staying there is a real pleasure. It is my hotel of choice in Southampton.

Great food, very helpful concierge
I went to HarBar a few days ago to have dinner with my partner's family, and when we arrived we couldn't figure out how to get to the restaurant . We asked the concierge Ryan for directions, and he was really helpful and kind.
The staff in the restaurant were kind and served our food and drinks within good time. A great experience overall!
