TRAUMATIC!!!
Where there is one mouse, there are several!
We were given another room and late check out. No other form of apology for the horrible experience.
I tried to explain that mice and other vermin carry dangerous and potentially deadly diseases, but felt that I got no response or understanding. The hantavirus can be deadly, and salmonella is serious.
Now I have to sanitise every single thing.
Apart from that, the shower drain was plugged, the tap in the shower came loose and had to be used very delicately, hot, even lukewarm water took for ever and there was black mould in the bathroom.
We had to wait til the last day to get a remote to our room.
And the elevator took 2-3 minutes to arrive and climb one floor.

Mice roaming around. Horrible stay
We stayed 5 nights here and it became exponentially worse every. single. night.
The first night we checked in and discovered the STAINS on the blankets and pillows. We also booked a deluxe room, so it should have more space and a bigger bed, but that was not the case.
The second night we were dying of the heat and tried to turn it off (didn’t work) so we called the receptionist. It turns out, only they can change the heat/cold in the room, while there are fake buttons on the wall thats actually supposed to control them.
To add on the second night, we both slept in a one person sized bed, but there was a gap between the beds. The smell that came out of the gap was actually killing me. I am always deep asleep, but the rancid smell creeped up from the creek every time we turned around on the bed. It woke me up multiple times.
On the third night around 19.00 we wanted to watch some TV, but as we wanted to turn it on, there was no remote in sight. We called the receptionist and they told us that they have it and would bring it to us. We didn’t recieve any TV remote until the next day at 20.00.
On the fourth night we saw blood stains on the floor, right besides the bed gap. We didn’t know where it was from but it was very unsettling. To add on, there was also some sort of bug waiting on the bed and it kept coming back. Not sure what kind of bug it was, but it was light brown.
On the fifth DAY I was still getting ready, but a housekeeper knocked on the door and when I asked them if they could return in 10 minutes, she said straight up no and asked if I needed toilet paper. I then asked her if I could have atleast 5 minutes before she cleans the room, and she reluctantly said fine.
But now comes the final blow, on the same night, I was sitting on my bed with dimmed lights and I saw an mice creeping up on me. It scared me so bad, I went to look online for reviews and it seems that this is a frequent problem, but the hotel doesn’t care about it. I couldnt sleep that night (the bed is also very uncomfortable) since I had to make sure there weren’t any mice coming with me in the suitcase. We also discovered some mice poop near the fridge and saw the mice go through a small vent (see video).
If you couldn’t tell, it was an horrible experience and I WOULDNT recommend anyone to book here, despite the site saying its a ‘4 star’ hotel. I have been in alot of hotels and none of them had mice roaming around.
They will also ask you to deposit $50 for your stay, and claim they will give it back when you check out, well the man who checked out didnt bother to ask/tell me about my $50.
Oh yeah and if you’re a solo woman traveling, you should NEVER come here since this street is roaming around with drug addicts at night.
Plus there is an pub under the hotel (which is fine) but they are playing loud music till 00.00, so if you’re sensitive to that, i would reconsider immediately (nonetheless i would reconsider your stay here at all).
The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is that the uber drive from airport to the hotel was smooth and well organized. That is about it honestly.
