Fantastic hotel in an isolated part of town.

We really appreciated our stay in Foggia as we weren't able to speak much Italian at all!! The staff were very lovely and welcoming and very understanding of our feeble attempts to communicate. The breakfast included was fantastic! It is quite far out of Foggia which we knew when booking and didn't bother us much as we had such a late change in plans. We would have liked an extra pillow in the room but 3 pillows is usual in Italy and had we were better at Italian we could have asked. We cannot fault the service given. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I usually do not write bad reviews. We arrived at 3 pm, the owner was clearly bothered by our presence. He wanted to retain our Ids until the next day—a no go. The room had a temperature of 35 degrees and the a/c did not work. Our complaint was answered tha a/c only is available between 6pm and 5am. The hotel is situated in what looks like a war zone. Dilapidated buildings galore. The pictures and descriptions do not represent the reality. You would not walk outside in the dark. We left for another hotel after thirty minutes, forfeiting the already paid reservation. If you can avoid this place do so.

The lowest of standard - It’s like a simulation of Mogadishu

Basically, I never thought you could get a hotel in Italy that gives you that Blackhawk down feel. It’s exactly like Mogadishu: the streets are littered with garbage, roads have pot holes the size of footballs not to mention it’s the Italy’s capitol of car thefts.
The hotel; lets put it this way. Mogadishu yet again, ants crawling in the bathroom, airconditioning either doesn’t work or it’s so loud you can’t have a conversation. The lobby has 32 degrees C, service is... what service? Breakfast; a crossaint and coffee. Don’t ask for more. It’s not there.

Plus: Cheap price, wide bathroom, very good breakfast.
Cons: Super slow Wifi, Air conditioning not very efficient, the area feels very dangerous (luckly we had a car, I cannot see myself strolling around on foot in those areas).

i am here in the hotel villa dei gourmet ,foggia. its amazing to be here.
very good hotel,free wifi is also available.and the restaurant is very clean and the food is very very good.specially olive ascolane ...and bruschetta which is served as starter,,,,
