Very pleasant stay in Agra

I had a great time at the Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in Agra. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with quality bedding and beautiful modern decor. Everything was well maintained and the overall atmosphere was soothing.
Breakfast was varied and delicious, with a wide selection of Indian and international dishes. The meals served in the restaurant were also excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors.
The staff was very attentive throughout the stay. Always smiling, attentive and professional, he knew how to respond to all our requests with efficiency and kindness.
I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Agra, whether for the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the meals or the exemplary hospitality of the staff.

Apart from food not worth staying at this hotel

Only USP this hotel is having food apart from this not worth paying and staying at this hotel. If you face any difficulty and tell the staff about that they will give you the excuses. Don’t accept the fault.
Chef is Sheeraj is excellent person and the food is really good.

Stayed at 2 different Marriotts on this trip, very disappointed! not a 4- or 5-star, Bonvoy Points diluted almost 300%

Not sure how they achieved Marriott designation, Lobby is a joke, rooms are small but modern and clean, did not find them honest, my son bought some stuff from the downstairs vending machine and paid for with Amex. card, at checkout I found those items on the room bill, upon asking him to confirm as my son had already left, he insisted that they had not been paid for! Bonvoy points are diluted to the Hilt, Marriot site indicated they were worth 9 US cents, the Hotel just offered about 3.45 US cents. Marriott's response was don't use points. Lesson learnt: Patronize Hilton's, Hyatt's, Radisson etc. their points rebate is close to what they state! Bonvoy/Marriot is a ripoff

Good Hotel. Good Food and Good Service especially from the Cook, Satish during our Buffet Breakfast. He really goes out of his way to prepare a variety of items at the breakfast and bring it to the table. Compliements to him.

Customer service = Santosh!

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting the Red Fort and Taj Mahal. The hotel itself is situated in an old part of the town with some development around it. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The room itself was clean and well maintained. We did not eat at the hotel but went to a restaurant in the shopping mall next door. We returned to the hotel for a night cap. I had a Kingfisher and my brother decided to have a hot chocolate. We were served by Santosh ( who incidentally spoke and understood English really well) in the bar area. He was really helpful and attentive but not to the extent it was annoying, he seems to have customer service sorted. My brother said that his drink was luke warm with minutes Santosh had taken it away, put steam through and heated it up. There was no moaning, all completed courteously and with a smile.
