They took AMAZING care of my dad for a few weeks
Well, I truly couldn't have chosen a better place. He had one of the best summers of his life there... Helene & Christophe took such good care of him (for several weeks !) and made him feel at home instantly. They were SO gracious, I can't thank them enough. Their care and generosity exceeded our expectations.
He was fed gorgeous breakfast, lunches and dinner, all homemade food - and, as a result, he's a much healthier weight now, as he'd lost his appetite.
But au Bon Vivant, they ate out in the garden every night as it was during the heat wave and he also got to meet very interesting people from all over the world.
Staying with such kind hosts was JUST what he needed at this difficult time - I live abroad and H&C did more for him than I could have ever done, in the circumstances.
His room (and bathroom) was spacious and the bedding was very comfortable.
My dad is 87 and won't use the internet so I'm posting this on this behalf as he is really grateful and felt like he was part of the extended family...
