Three wonderful nights in this lovely place
We had dinner in the 1525 restaurant for all three nights and the team could not have been more flexible and friendly. Two people that were just excellent were Maria (supervior) and Marianna; but really great service from everyone.
There were some negative tripadvisor comments on the slow check-in process. Personally speaking the process was good and the front desk superisor (Randy) was great. I can understand the negative comments because this is Latin America and everyone is “politely jumping the line” to ask their important question !
In summary our experience was really good and we would 100% recommend it

Smoking allowed.
This did not allow me to enjoy the hotel with my family as in the day and night the smell was in the room and when going out to the balcony worse.

Worst stay of recent years, stay away.
- Rooms were not ready at 4pm for check-in.
- Rooms were not cleaned by 5pm the next day.
- No taxis to take you out of the property for diner reservation. Had to stay on property with an hour wait to be seated at the restaurant and and an hour and a half to get food.
- Ran out of hot water and excuse was "full occupancy".
- Pool was 2/3 full for some reason.
- Beach amenities consist of cheap plastic chairs.
This is a 2 star hotel masquerading as a resort. Stay away.
